T-Mobile Takedown!

T-Mobile has added Starlink service on some plans and as an option on the rest. Starlink is a satellite communications service owned by Elon Musk. While most of us don't own a Tesla to sell it, I'm willing to bet that a lot of us have T-Mobile cellphone service.
Not only is Starlink another source of money for Musk, it's also a problem in its own right that the Musk not only has control over our space program and Twitter (X) but is trying to gain monopoly control over satellite communications. This caused a big problem for Ukraine early in their war against Russia as Musk turned off their Starlink connections in Russia itself, limiting their retaliatory drone attacks to Ukrainian territory. There's no reason he could not do this to US military in some future war, holding us hostage to whatever his demands might be.
If you subscribe to T-Mobile, call them up and cancel. If you cancel online you will not be able to tell them the reason for cancellation, which is important in a boycott. You will need a port-out PIN to keep your current number.
You will then need to select a new provider. Google them before you switch to them. Many of them are T-Mobile in disguise (Mint Mobile uses T-Mobile Networks). You will want to select either AT&T, Verizon or Boost Mobile. I switched to Visible, which is Verizon's budget provider and I'm actually saving a lot of money per month. You will need to give them the port-out PIN to keep your phone number.
